A Letter from the Nadcap SSC Chair - Beijing Nadcap Meeting 2020

Greetings fellow Nadcap Suppliers! In keeping with the Supplier Support Committee’s (SSC) ongoing communication efforts, I would like to provide a summary to all Suppliers about the recent Nadcap activities conducted in place of the Beijing meeting that was supposed to be held February 24-27, 2020 and a look ahead at what is coming your way in London in June. Some important news applicable to Suppliers includes:
  1. Improvement actions continue to be worked, which include:
    • PRI is continuing their development of a “Watch List” process to improve the ability to monitor the accreditation status of their Suppliers, with testing expected to start in the first quarter of 2020.
    • PRI has released an update to eAuditNet that now allows an NCR response to be saved and later edited, up until the point it is submitted for Staff Engineer review.
  2. Because of the current health crisis, the Nadcap Technical Symposia for 2020 are currently on hold. Please check the PRI website for updates on the symposia once the crisis is resolved.
  3. The 2019 Supplier Survey closed at the end of February and the SSC is in the process of consolidating the data and will review it in April to determine any improvement actions we can champion.
  4. The Nadcap Management Council (NMC) Redundant Audit Sub-Team, in conjunction with the SSC Leadership Team, continued working on establishing a method for reporting redundant audits. The process and forms have been finalized and the SSC is in process of updating the website and establishing the communication to describe the process.
Supplier events planned for June 15-18, 2020, in London, England, include:
  1. A powerful line-up of events designed to provide information on the Nadcap system that will be particularly useful to new participants and first-time meeting attendees starts at 9AM on Monday:
